Hello fellow anglers, Joe Renosky here. I’ve been designing fishing lures for over 70 years. My main claim to fame is the Banjo Minnow, and I was the first to print patterns on soft plastics. The 20-pound bass I’m holding was caught on a 9” paddle tail printed with a Rainbow Trout pattern. For the past five years, my Reno Rocker has been a staple for walleye and musky anglers alike. The 42-pounder in the photo on the other side was caught on a 5” Reno Rocker. In early 2025, I built about three dozen 7” jointed Reno Rocker prototypes to see if they’d catch bigger fish. I handed them out to some of the best fishermen I’ve known over the years. Captain Chaz on Lake Ontario caught impressive brown trout, salmon, and lakers, while AJ Barna on Bone Lake in Wisconsin landed 19 muskies and plenty of big northern pike with the 7”, Doctor Bob caught lots of big walleyes with these 7” baits. This bait works wonders on all kinds of predator fish and comes in several finishes—Glow, Crushed Glow, and Hot Stamped. There are four sets to choose from for just $40 per set, a real bargain when most musky lures cost that much each. The back treble on the 7” model is dressed in deer hair—predators love its action. The Reno Rocker’s blade makes it pulse and come alive. The proof’s in the pictures—they really work! Each set includes a pink version we call the Cow Girl; it’s been the top performer of them all. Pick up a few today—you won’t regret it!
